The Cisco N5K - C5672UP is a high - performance Cisco Switch designed to meet the demanding needs of modern data centers. One of its key features is the impressive 1.44Tbps backplane bandwidth, enabling seamless and high - speed data transfer, while its low - latency design ensures that data packets are processed and forwarded in approximately 1 microsecond, perfect for latency - sensitive applications like real - time video streaming and online trading.

 

This switch offers remarkable port flexibility with 48 10GE ports, 16 of which are unified ports (UP). The UP ports can be configured as either Ethernet or Fibre Channel ports, providing 8 - ,4 - ,2 - Gbps Fibre Channel, 10Gigabit Ethernet, and FCoE connection options. Additionally, it comes with 6 40GE QSFP ports for high - speed uplink connections or inter - device links.

 

It supports VXLAN in both bridging and routing modes on all wire - speed ports, facilitating seamless virtual machine migration across Layer 3 networks.
